Award Nominations
The Fleet Remarketing Awards
The Fleet Remarketing Awards celebrate the individuals and businesses whose work has had a significant impact on the automotive remarketing industry. Recipients are selected through a vote by their colleagues — the professionals who best understand the complexity of the industry.
The winner, as well as two runners up, will be announced at the 2026 CAR (Conference of Automotive Remarketing) Conference, which will be held April 15 and 16, 2026, and at the 2026 NAFA Institute & Expo (I&E) which will be held April 13 through 15, 2026 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Nominations close on February 15, 2026.
Consignor of the Year
The Consignor of the Year award recognizes professionals and companies in the automotive remarketing industry for their outstanding contributions and leadership. The winner is selected based on their ability to implement and encourage best industry practices and to create, embrace, and implement innovations in the industry. The award is voted on by other professionals in the remarketing industry.
Focus: The award highlights excellence in vehicle remarketing, which involves the sale of used and wholesale vehicles.
Criteria: Key factors for winning include leadership, innovation, and the promotion of best practices within the remarketing community.
Selection: The recipients are chosen by peers within the automotive remarketing industry.
Remarketer of the Year
The Remarketer of the Year award recognizes an outstanding individual for their leadership, dedication, and significant contributions to the auto remarketing industry. It honors professionals who have excelled through hard work, integrity, and have helped advance the industry, mentor others, and develop new talent.
Outstanding leadership and dedication: The award acknowledges an individual's commitment to the industry through hard work, dedication, and a strong sense of integrity.
Industry advancement: Recipients are recognized for making significant contributions that advance the remarketing industry as a whole.
Mentorship and collaboration: The award also celebrates those who work to advance the industry by mentoring the next generation of professionals and collaborating with colleagues.
Excellence in practices: It recognizes excellence in a variety of areas, such as leadership, success in wholesale and retail used car operations, innovation, and the application of best practices.
Value Champion of the Year
The Value Champion of the Year award is new in 2026 and acknowledges the supplier ecosystem of options that fleet vehicle owners have invested in that creates value that carries forward to the vehicle buyer during remarketing. In 2026, there are three categories awarded to a business that is active in the business fleet community.
Technology Champion
The award also celebrates carry forward technology options installed by the owner that measurably improved their cost of maintenance, sustainability and/or safety during the first owner's title.
Transportation Champion
The award celebrates cost effective movement of vehicles between titles that reduce costs, simplify processes and reduces carbon footprint.
Upfit Champion
The award celebrates upfit options deployed by the first owner that are kept during remarketing to the buyer.
