Joe George
Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer
Manheim and AutoTrader Group
Joe George serves as senior vice president and chief strategy officer for Manheim and AutoTrader Group. Most recently, George served as senior vice president of product development, where he directed long-range product development processes. He was also responsible for the evolution of Manheim’s digital marketplace. Prior, George was group vice president of Manheim Digital. He joined in 1998 and led several efforts as the company grew from a startup to the industry’s leading retail classified online destination. George then joined’s parent company as vice president of Strategy and Business Development and was subsequently promoted to president of Cox AutoTrader/AutoMart. George rejoined Manheim as group vice president, Digital Solutions in 2009.


Dan Kennedy
Manager, GM Remarketing
General Motors
Dan Kennedy began his career with General Motors in 1978 and has been a member of the GM Remarketing organization since 1986. He has been the National Sales Manager for GM Remarketing since 1999 and is responsible for devising and instituting all processes and programs associated with GM’s vehicle remarketing activities. Previously, Dan served as the Finance Manager for GM Fleet Operations where he oversaw of all departmental operating budgets. Dan was also a Special Project Manager within GM’s Fleet Redistribution Staff where he served as the departmental interface with GMAC for auctions and sales consolidation and was responsible for coordinating the GM auction participation of GM’s overseas dealers.


John King
Chief National Correspondent
John King is CNN’s chief national correspondent and the former anchor of John King, USA. He moderated the first CNN debate of the 2012 Republican presidential primary season, and during the 2010 election cycle, he moderated gubernatorial debates in Massachusetts and Florida. King joined CNN in May 1997 and became chief national correspondent in April 2005. He served as CNN’s senior White House correspondent from 1999 to 2005. As a member of the Peabody Award-winning “Best Political Team on Television,” King was a key part of the network’s innovative “America Votes 2008” coverage of the presidential campaign. He pioneered the use of the CNN “multi-touch” board, which allowed him to delve into election data and track delegates like never before for primary election nights. Before joining CNN, King wrote for the Associated Press, which he joined in 1985. In 1991 he was named chief political correspondent and headed the AP’s political coverage of the 1992 and 1996 presidential elections.

Rene Abdalah is a Vice President at the RVI Group and is responsible for underwriting and risk management for all residual value insurance business in North America. He is also responsible for business and product development for RVI Analytical Services. Rene’s area of expertise is in the analysis of the auto leasing market with particular focus on portfolio risk management. Before joining RVI, he was a Principal at The Campbell Group and prior to this spent four years at Standard & Poor’s Global Automotive Group. Earlier in his career, he worked at World Omni’s residual risk group, and the Federal Reserve’s automotive group.


David Andrews

David Andrews, Dealer’s Auto Auction founder and Chief Manager, has been in the automotive business for 43 years. Dealer’s Auto Auction is a subsidiary of City Enterprises LLC, the parent company to a variety of automobile businesses that include asset recovery, used retail auto dealerships and wholesale and retail credit. David serves on the board of NIADA and contributes to many state and national franchise and independent dealer projects. All DAA Auctions are members of NAAA and IARA, with full service auctions located in Mobile AL, Mempis TN, Huntsville AL, Murfreesboro TN and most recently, Chattanooga TN.


Todd August
Director of Wholesale Operations
Avis Budget Group
Todd August started his career with two years with Manheim as the factory and Reconditioning Manager at their then owned auction in High Point, North Carolina. He then went to work for Alamo Rent a Car as Western Car Sales Manager in Los Angeles, CA. In 1996, Todd joined the team at Avis Rent A Car, and is currently the Director of Wholesale Operations for AvisBudget Group responsible for nationwide remarketing of the entire fleet of AvisBudget risk-vehicles that come out of service each year.


Ricky Beggs
Senior Vice President, Editorial Director

Black Book
Ricky Beggs began his career in the automotive industry in 1981 as a member of the Editorial team at Black Book gathering market information, conducting data analysis and reporting the used vehicle market values. After working specifically in the used domestic model car market, the older car market and with the truck and utility market, in 1991 Ricky began leading the team of industry experienced Editors and data analysts in reporting current used market values that are based on actual auction activity and projecting residual values for consumer leasing. Ricky represents Black Book as an industry expert and provides market insight for many publications and websites.


Mike Broe
Auto Auction Services Corporation
President and CEO
Mike Broe is currently the president and of Auto Auction Services Corp. Prior to that, he was the executive vice president of operations for Manheim; before joining the corporate staff Mike served as regional vice president for the southwest; general manager of Houston Hobby and Portland Auto Auctions. He started in the auction industry in 1987 as the finance manager for the Minneapolis Auto Auction. Mike’s exposure to the automobile business started with Dart & Kraft Leasing in 1983 which is now GE Financial Services.


Warren Byrd
Executive Vice President Corporate Development and Real Estate
KAR Auction Services
Warren Byrd oversees strategic corporate development projects and acquisitions as executive vice president of corporate development and real estate of KAR Auction Services. Warren joined ADESA in 1994 as the company’s legal counsel. During his time with ADESA, He has held several senior management roles in the areas of corporate development and information services. He also served as president of the company’s salvage auction subsidiary. Previously, Warren worked in private practice at an Indianapolis law firm and holds a doctorate of jurisprudence from the University of Notre Dame Law School. Warren serves as a Board Member of Auto Auction Services Corporation (AASC).


Jay Cadigan
Vice President of Industry Relations
Jay Cadigan is responsible for building strong relationships with Manheim’s partners across the industry.  He leads Manheim’s strategic efforts to develop, promote and establish consistent standards, processes and policies that further the industry. Jay brings over 35 years of diversified remarketing experience to his role.  Jay spent three years as vice president of sales and operations for the General Motors and Avis Budget Group accounts for Manheim. Before that, he served as general manager of Skyline Auto Exchange. Jay is a past president of the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA). He currently serves on the NAAA’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. 


Jeannie Chiaromonte
Vice President and National Remarketing Manager
Bank of America
Jeannie Chiaromonte serves as the Vice President of Asset Remarketing for Bank of America responsible for the sales and transportation of Auto, RV, and Marine repossessions. She manages all aspects of the auction remarketing operations on a national level and is responsible for developing all strategies associated with the processes, audit and compliance. Jeannie is a member of Manheim and ADESA Client Advisory Boards and serves on the Board of Directors at IARA (International Automotive Remarketers Alliance) and as 2nd Chair Vice President and has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of La Verne in La Verne, CA.


Tom Cornellier
Manager, Auction Operations & eBusiness, Vehicle Remarketing
Ford Motor Company
Tom Cornellier is the manager of Auction Operations and eBusiness for Ford Motor Company's Vehicle Remarketing department, a position he has held since 2008. He is responsible for all operational and strategic aspects of Ford's physical and online vehicle remarketing initiatives. Tom joined the Ford Remarketing team in 2001 as the eBusiness Manager responsible for the development and implementation of Ford's eBusiness strategy. From 2007 through 2008, he also managed the Ford and Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned program. Tom has been with Ford Motor Company for 29 years in a variety of field, marketing, sales, and operational positions.


Laurence Dixon

NADA Used Car Guide
Laurence Dixon oversees NADA’s market intelligence efforts and leads a team with a goal to continuously provide content that is both useful and usable to the automotive industry, financial institutions, businesses and consumers. He manages and contributes to NADA’s Used Car & Truck Blog, creates the company’s monthly market report and oversees the creation of special studies and reports. With 15 years at NADA, Laurence is well-versed in the analysis of wholesale and retail transaction price data, as well as the market fundamentals that dictate used vehicle price performance. He’s also been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Car & Driver Magazine and Automotive News.

Bob Graham

Vice President of Vehicle Remarketing
Bob Graham joined ARI in 1973. Throughout his career, he has been involved in most phases of the leasing business. He started in the new vehicle ordering area, moved to the maintenance management department, then to vehicle remarketing, where he became manager and then director. Bob was instrumental in moving ARI's remarketing program to a web-based environment, which led to ARIAutoDirect®, ARIBuyDirect, ARI's Virtual Market and other industry-leading programs. Bob is active in the industry and in 2009 was named president of the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) and currently holds the position of Chairman. 


Eric Ibara
Director, Residual Values
Kelley Blue Book
Eric Ibara has more than 20 years of automotive industry experience. He is responsible for managing the residual value practice at Kelley Blue Book, which includes overseeing the residual value forecasts. The information Eric manages is offered as a syndicated data product, utilized on and published in Kelley Blue Book’s Official Residual Value Guide. Previously, Eric spent more than a decade to Mitsubishi Motors, where he directed the financial planning department. He architected new ways of forecasting residual values for the lifecycle of vehicle models and improved incentive cost forecasting. Prior to Mitsubishi, Eric worked at Nissan Motor Corporation in financial planning handling long-range forecasts and strategic planning.


Scott Kolb, CAI, CAR
Director, Business Development and Remarketing
United Road
Scott Kolb, CAI, CAR provides strategic business development services to the automotive, remarketing, and competitive bidding industries for United Road. His diverse career has included management assignments with Chrysler Financial, Honda Financial Services, Auction Broadcasting Company, The SKi Group, and Illinois Independent Automobile Dealers Association. He holds the Certified Professional Consultant (CPC) designation and is a lifetime member of the National Auctioneers Association. Scott is a board member of the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance and chair of their Education Committee. As a “Scholar” for the Gerson Lehrman Group Automotive Council, he is widely recognized as one of the top powerbrokers in the remarketing industry.


Steve Krupa
Morton Auto Auction
Steve Krupa began his career in the industry at IAA’s Kansas City location 15 years ago. In 2006, he purchased the Morton Auto Auction in Central Illinois. Last year, Steve served as the Midwest Chapter NAAA President and as the IAASC President. He is currently working with the Technology and Steering Committees on the industry’s ‘hub’ initiative. He is an investor in commercial and residential real estate. In his spare time, he coaches his daughter’s travel basketball team and mentor’s his son’s LEGO league robotics team.


Greg Lubrani
Liquid Motors Inc.
Greg Lubrani is a 24–year automotive industry veteran and most recently served as Director of US Sales for OPENLANE. Prior to OPENLANE, Greg was Director of Dealer Training for Manheim's OVE and facilitated The Wholesale Institute. Greg also worked for Credit Acceptance Corporation as its National Director of Vehicle Marketing where he used his knowledge of online wholesaling to assist the company's dealer partners in purchasing inventory over the Internet. Greg also enjoyed a successful 12 year career with Enterprise Rent a Car where he was accountable for remarketing 126,000 rental units and 25,000 fleet service units annually.


Eric Lyman
Vice President, Residual Value Solutions
Eric Lyman is the official spokesperson for ALG and oversees the solutions team responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with OEMs, captive and non-captive finance organizations, fleet companies and financial companies operating within the automotive sector. Eric joined ALG in 1999 and served as Managing Editor and Senior Consultant prior to his current role. Eric continues to work closely with the Editorial, Consulting, Product and Residual Risk Analysis groups to provide accurate forecasts, high value consulting and risk management products and services that address the dynamic requirements of ALG clients in the increasingly competitive automotive landscape.


John Manchin
National Fleet Remarketing Manager
Subaru of America, Inc.
John Manchin holds the position of National Fleet Remarketing Manager for Subaru of America, Inc. and is responsible for the asset liquidation and remarketing activities for all Subaru vehicle groups in the secondary market. John began his career at Subaru in December 2001 as remarketing manager for Subaru Auto Leasing with the responsibility of liquidating the consumer off-lease portfolio. John introduced and incorporated multi-channel, upstream remarketing at Subaru in March 2003 by designing and implementing SubaruSOLD, an internet-based remarketing system.


Joe McCloskey
McCloskey Motors, Inc.
Joe McCloskey has been in the automobile business for over 43 years and has owned McCloskey Motors for over 25 years. Joe and McCloskey Motors, Inc. have been awarded the #1 Special Finance & Auto Finance Dealer in the United States and the National Award for the Internet Special Financial Dealer of the Year. Joe was selected as the Colorado Independent Quality Dealer of the Year. The National Independent Dealer Association’s awarded him the “National Quality Dealer of the Year” for demonstrating excellent customer service and investment, contributions to community organizations, national programs and internationally through leadership and representation in global forums. Joe has two Used Vehicle locations and does most of the used inventory purchasing for his dealerships.


Bob McConkey
DAA Northwest
Bob McConkey began his career in the industry at South Seattle Auto Auction. He later served as General Manager of Southern California Auto Auction, doubling its size and making it the world’s largest auto auction in just three years. In 1992, he and business partner Greg Mahugh founded DAA Northwest in Spokane, Washington. Bob became co-owner of Kansas City Independent Auto Auction in 2009. Additionally, he partnered with Greg Mahugh in founding El Paso Independent Auto Auction and DAA Seattle. In 2009, he served as president and chairman of the National Auto Auction Association, where he championed strategic cooperation and standardization within the industry.


Levi McCoy
Director, Remarketing
Levi McCoy is responsible for directing end-of-lease vehicle sales via all remarketing channels.  Prior to assuming his current position, Levi served as the organizational development trainer for LeasePlan.  In that role, Levi was instrumental in developing the remarketing training curriculum introduced with the launch of LeasePlan’s enhanced remarketing system in 2007. Prior to LeasePlan, Levi was with a major internet provider and major US airline/computer reservation system as a call center manager.  Levi is a member of several key industry organizations including the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA), where he currently serves as President, the National Association of Automotive Auctions (NAAA), and Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR).  


Tim Meta
Consumer Remarketing Manger/Vice President
Fifth Third Bank
Tim Meta currently manages the vehicle, RV, marine mobile home and motorcycle consumer remarketing portfolio, on a national level for Fifth Third Bancorp. He manages all aspects of the auction remarketing operations and is responsible for developing all strategies associated with the remarketing process and result tracking. He has 27 plus years in automotive finance starting with General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC). Tim also worked for SouthTrust Bank as national automotive marketing manager/ vice president and was the consumer remarketing manager/ group vice president. He is a member of the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA), serves on the Board of Directors and is Co-Chair of Standards Committee.


Chuck Novince
VP Commercial Accounts
Chuck Novince’s career spans 37 years in the auto industry, 24 of which has been in his current position at Manheim. His experience is vast and has held several positions in the field. Before joining Manheim he was the general manager at Adesa Cleveland, the regional remarketing manager for Dart & Kraft and Wheels Inc., sales manager for Preferred Auto Leasing Company, an assistant lease manager for Obrien Chevrolet, and the office manager for Agency Rent-A-Car. Chuck is also an IARA board member.


Dan Oscarson

Dan Oscarson is Vice President of Global Business Development at Insurance Auto Auctions. His experience includes over 25 years in the salvage auction business, including 12 years as Vice President of Marketing. In his current role, Dan is responsible for developing strategic alliances and sales channel expansion in global markets. His efforts attract a significant number of international buyers from over 100 countries and contribute to higher selling prices on over one million vehicles sold by IAA annually. Dan is a graduate of Brigham Young University.

Paul Seger

Paul Seger and has spent the majority of his professional career with GE Capital. During his 30 plus years of service, Paul has held numerous positions within the Fleet Services and Consumer Finance vehicle remarketing divisions, including roles as Territory Sales Manager, Senior Risk Manager, and Vice President of Customer Service. Paul was instrumental in helping GE’s Consumer business navigate through one of the most challenging cycles in the history of the automobile leasing industry. He and his team also established the remarketing growth strategy for GE’s leading Fleet Services business. Paul has successfully completed Six Sigma training, participated in multiple Quality projects and earned a Green Belt at GE.


Ira Silver
National Auto Auction Association
Dr. Ira Silver has been in the field of Business & Economic Analysis for over 30 years. He is an Associate Professor in Managerial Economics at TCU’s Neeley School of Business and Economist for the NAAA. Before coming to The Neeley School of Business, he was Chief Economist and Director of Strategic Planning at the JCPenney Company. Earlier in his career Dr. Silver was an Assistant VP and Senior Economist at The Bank of New York. He has taught at several universities and has been quoted in publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and the Dallas Business Journal.


Linda Silverstein

Linda Silverstein is manager, remarketing and rental operations Ford Motor Company. She has been responsible for Ford Motor Company vehicle remarketing since 2002 and rental operations since 2007. Linda joined the Ford Motor Company in 1982 as an analyst in Ford Division's Detroit District Sales Office. Linda was named auction department manager in 2001. Prior to that, she was the head of Automotive Remarketing Services where her team offered the company’s remarketing capabilities to external customers. Linda was an NAAA Hall of Fame recipient in 2009, Consignor of the Year in 2010 and was honored as a Warren Young Fellow.


Steve Solomon
Santander Consumer USA Inc.
Vice President, Asset Remarketing
Steve Solomon is currently the Vice President of Asset Remarketing for both Santander and Chrysler Capital. Prior to that, he spent 25 years with Chrysler Group LLC. At Chrysler, Steve held many responsible positions within their Finance and Remarketing Organizations. His last position with Chrysler was Regional Sales Manager handling all remarketing operations in the Northeast and Midwest. Steve is a graduate of Albion College and holds an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy.


Greg Thibault

Greg Thibault has nearly 30 years of Rental Industry Experience, more than 25 years in the fleet side of the business. His experience includes 15 years with Avis Budget Group, majority of it spent at ABG Headquarters in Fleet Administration. Greg’s responsibilities include overseeing the remarketing, damaged vehicle disposal and manufacturer repurchase turn backs of all of Avis Budget Group fleet vehicles.


Doug Turner

Doug Turner joined J.D. Byrider in 1999 with responsibility for the operations of the Company Store Service Departments. In his current position, Doug’s responsibilities include the acquisition and liquidation of all vehicles for J. D. Byrider and CNAC within Company Store Operations. Doug is instrumental in the creation, design and support of the Vehicle Inventory and Service modules within the Discover Computer System which is the proprietary software for Byrider Systems. Doug previously spent seven years with Sears Automotive Centers where he managed a Tire America, a National Tire and Battery Center, and a Sears Automotive Center.


Layne Weber

Layne Weber is the Vice President of Remarketing Sales for OneMain Remarketing. He is a current Sub Committee Chair, Board Member, and past President of the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance. Listed in Who’s Who in remarketing for finance companies, Layne is a 20 year remarketing industry veteran and frequent presenter at industry conferences. Layne is a graduate of the University of Utah and has previously held remarketing management positions at GE, Donlen, and Citigroup.


Eric Widmer

Eric Widmer joined Alliance Inspection Management (AiM) in November 2005 and serves as a Vice President of Sales and Operations. AIM is headquartered in Long Beach, Calif., with offices in Detroit, and is a national independent third-party evaluator of new and used vehicles and provides wholesale audit services to the financial sector. Before joining AiM, Eric held numerous positions at Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation, his last being manager of planning and strategy for NMAC.
