Tony Moorby
NAAA Hall-of-Famer
Tony Moorby started his career in the retail and wholesale car business in England, and became deputy sales director of British Car Auctions.  In the early 1980s, Tony moved to the United States and helped start Anglo American Auto Auctions as vice president of sales.  The company was purchased by many businesses throughout the years, with finally Manheim and ADESA acquiring the company in 2000.  Tony served as vice president and president through the years, and worked with ADESA as executive vice president until 2003.  He has since owned several businesses, and writes a bi-weekly column for Used Car News.   Tony has been inducted into NIADA’s Ring of Honor and NAAA’s Hall of Fame.    

     
 

Wolfgang Reinhold
Senior Vice-President Car Remarketing, Operations & Procurement
LeasePlan Corporation N.V.
In 1989 Wolfgang E. Reinhold joined LeasePlan Germany as managing director. In 2003 he was elected senior vice-president car remarketing of LeasePlan Corporation, and since 2006 he holds the position of senior vice-president car remarketing, operations & procurement. Wolfgang’s responsibilities are in the area international procurement for core and non-core business, and controlling and coordinating all international operations activities for around 1.3 million LeasePlan cars. He has control and coordinates all 32 subsidiaries worldwide in the car remarketing area. 

     
  Bill Walton

NBA Legend and Basketball Analyst
A basketball superstar and member of the Basketball Hall of Fame, Bill Walton made sports history playing for UCLA when he led the team to two NCAA championships and a record 88-game winning streak. Walton played under the famed tutelage of John Wooden, who coached "character" and "giving your best" first. Winning was never mentioned in the locker room—lessons that stuck with Walton throughout his career. After college, he played on NBA championship teams—the Portland Trail Blazers and the Boston Celtics—and has received innumerable awards, including citations for his humanitarian and leadership contributors. An Emmy Award-winning basketball analyst formerly with ABC and ESPN, he currently is a television analyst for the Sacramento Kings.

Mike Antich

Mike Antich is executive editor and associate publisher for Automotive Fleet Magazine. Mike has been heavily involved in the fleet industry for more than 25 years, writing and editing more than 5,000 articles on fleet management, in addition to his active membership in a number of industry associations, including the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA), NAFA Fleet Management Association (NAFA), and the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA). Antich is a past AFLA president, a 15-year member of the NAFA Foundation Board of Directors, long-time member of the NAFA Affiliates Committee, and was a member of the committee that helped create the Affiliates position on the NAFA Board of Trustees. He was chairman of the IARA industry task force that developed the first-ever Certified Automotive Remarketers (CAR) program and has served 10 years on the IARA Board of Directors, in addition to being an officer and secretary.

Sherb Brown is the Vice President and group publisher of the Bobit Business Media Fleet Group with 20 years of experience within the fleet industry. Brown is a member of the Ford Fleet Advisory Board and GM Commercial Sounding Board. 

     
 

Jeannie Chiaromonte, CAR

Jeannie Chiaromonte is vice president of asset remarketing for Bank of America responsible for sales and transportation of auto, RV, and marine repossessions.   She manages all aspects of the auction remarketing operations on a national level and is responsible for developing all strategies associated with the processes, audit and compliance and results tracking.  Jeannie joined the Bank in 1991.  Her experience also includes lease end term and collateral recovery.   Jeannie was appointed president of IARA (International Automotive Remarketers Alliance) in 2015, and serves on the board of directors and executive board.  She is also CAR certified. 

     
 

John Elizaga, CAR

John Elizaga is the director of vehicle remarketing at EMKAY. John leads EMKAY’s entire North American remarketing operations. He has been with EMKAY since 1999 and held management responsibilities in accident management, vehicle licensing services, vehicle acquisitions, and vehicle remarketing. John has over 16 years of experience in the automotive industry specializing in fleet management and vehicle remarketing. John has earned the industry accreditation as a “Certified Automotive Remarketer” and “Remarketing & Used-Car Industry’s 40 under 40” honoree. He serves on the IARA Board of Directors. John is also the Chairman of the IARA Technology Committee.

     
 

Susie Heins

Susie Heins is the vice president of dealer sales for Manheim, a Cox Automotive business. She oversees the national and regional sales teams focused on driving revenue and solutions for Manheim’s top dealer buyers and sellers. Heins brings expertise in automotive wholesale, auction and online B2B sectors as well as relationship marketing to her role. Heins has extensive experience in all facets of sales and operations, strategic business planning, sales management and development, customer service and online operations. This level of experience was a driving force in her being asked to participate in and subsequently contribute to the overall growth strategy and evolution of Manheim’s parent company, Cox Enterprises Inc.

     
 

Scott Kolb, CAI, CAR
Director, Business Development and National Remarketing

Scott Kolb, CAI, CAR provides strategic business development services to the automotive, remarketing, and competitive bidding industries for United Road. His diverse career has included management assignments with Chrysler Financial, Honda Financial Services, Auction Broadcasting Company, The SKi Group, and Illinois Independent Automobile Dealers Association. Scott holds the Certified Professional Consultant (CPC) and Certified Automotive Remarketer (CAR) designations.  Scott is a lifetime member of NAAA and a founding and board member of the IARA, as chair of the education and conference committee and recipient of the 2005 IARA Remarketing Industry Award of Recognition.  He was a key driver of the IARA CAR and Northwood University remarketing education programs. As a “Scholar” for the Gerson Lehrman Group Automotive Council, Scott is widely recognized as one of the top powerbrokers in the remarketing industry.

     
 

Tom Kontos
Executive Vice President and Chief Economist
ADESA Analytical Services
Tom Kontos is executive vice president and chief economist of ADESA Analytical Services, and in this capacity, he makes frequent presentations to clients and at automotive industry conferences.  He is author of Pulse, a report on economic conditions and the new and used vehicle markets in the United States and Canada; and the Kontos Kommentary, a monthly e-mail on wholesale used vehicle price trends.  His analytical team produces numerous value-added studies for ADESA clients and dealers. Tom has more than 25 years of experience in market research, financial analysis and strategic planning; and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mineral resource economics from Pennsylvania State University.

     
 

Tony Long

Tony Long is Executive Director for the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance. His implementation of new membership processes and sponsorship programs have resulted in increased participation from industry partners and record highs for both enrollment and conference attendance. Long came to IARA after spending four years with a leading auto lender, but he is best known for his twenty-year career in the wholesale auction industry. He is a past president of the National Auto Auction Association and the first president and Fellow of NAAA’s Warren Young Scholastic Foundation.

     
 

Howard Segal

Howard Segal joined Wells Fargo Dealer Services in 2003 as vice president and national remarketing manager, and is responsible for all strategy associated with vehicle sale and specialty processes for the disposition of recovered assets.  Before joining Wells Fargo, Segal was vice president and national remarketing manager for Bank of America where he was responsible for indirect and lease vehicle disposition on a national level.  Earlier in his career, he worked for PNC National Bank as a remarketing manager, and was focused on all aspects of off lease vehicle termination programs and sales strategies as well as retail installment collateral sale processes on a national level.    

     
 

Ira Silver

Dr. Ira Silver has been in the field of Business & Economic Analysis for over 30 years. He is an Associate Professor in Managerial Economics at TCU’s Neeley School of Business and Economist for the NAAA. Before coming to The Neeley School of Business, he was Chief Economist and Director of Strategic Planning at the JCPenney Company. Earlier in his career Dr. Silver was an Assistant VP and Senior Economist at The Bank of New York. He has taught at several universities and has been quoted in publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and the Dallas Business Journal.

     
 

Doug Turner

Doug Turner joined J.D. Byrider in 1999 with responsibility for the operations of the Company Store Service Departments. In his current position, Doug’s responsibilities include the acquisition and liquidation of all vehicles for J. D. Byrider and CNAC within Company Store Operations. Doug is instrumental in the creation, design and support of the Vehicle Inventory and Service modules within the Discover Computer System which is the proprietary software for Byrider Systems. Doug previously spent seven years with Sears Automotive Centers where he managed a Tire America, a National Tire and Battery Center, and a Sears Automotive Center.

     
 

Charlie Vogelheim

Charlie Vogelheim has been involved in the automotive industry for over 30 years. His multifaceted automotive career began at Kelley Blue Book where as executive editor he played an instrumental role in transforming Kelley from a regional guidebook to an internet powerhouse. After 20 years he joined J.D. Power as a vice president charged with their international roundtables. Most recently, Charlie joined TPC Management as a partner where he is assisting with the Auction Academy and business development for TPC and its client auctions. 

     
 

Tom Webb

Tom Webb brings over 40 years of automotive experience to his role as Chief Economist for Cox Automotive. Webb provides analysis of used car market activity based on data from Manheim’s auctions and associated businesses. A summary of his findings is published annually in Manheim’s Used Car Market Report. Prior to joining Manheim, Webb spent 26 years with the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) where he served as a spokesman and analyst for the nation’s franchised new car dealers and specialized in dealership financial analysis.
